1990

Changes in the European rock-scene coincide with the evolution of Metal into a weird creature called “Grunge”, that comes from the North-west of USA and in particular from the city of Seattle. A creature like this is the result of the approaching-variation  of Metal and Punk; Founders of this new conception can be: Green River ,Mudhoney ,Nirvana ,Bikiny kill ,Melvins, Pearl Jam, Screaming Trees, Hole ,A.I.C. ,Soundgarden ….and so on…. (some more marked by Metal and others more by Punk ).

1991 – ‘92

It was a study-travel in the USA and a Mudhoney’s concert that lighted the spark inside a young guy of Gorizia (Italy), TONY (1977):he must form a band. This idea was temporary put aside for various reasons: start playing the guitar again, find other members,ect…

1993

The research of one own musical style and the finding of some members occupies a great part of this year.

1994 – ‘95

A basketball field of a small religious community is the magical place to meet the bass player ,ANDY (Gorizia,1977 -L.A. on the stage).T-shirt of ACDC and long hair are enough to individuate a possible member.

”Would you like to form a rock band?”…….”Sure!”…..and the Dislexic Aployd was born.

Just from the beginning the band was boosted by Jonathan,a friend who followed them anywhere. Songs were created only with bass and guitar, at that point it was missed the rhythmic essence .

STEFANO,a friend lover and obsessed by Niko McBrain,Iron Maiden’s drummer, offered himself in accompanyin’ the newborn band. This is enough to understand how thing had gone…than to replace “Niko”, came Greagor, an old friend of Tony and Andy. At that time Tony decided, in a moment of  complete irrationality and excessive self-esteem, to change the name to Egocentricity…..”You said you wouldn’t have wrote thissss!”…Tony said to me……

Initially with Greg all seemed to be good ,but then he didn’t keep his care and Tony and Andy had to look for a new drummer....

In order to replace him, JONATHAN (Gorizia,1983) ,the old friend ,came in the band. In spite of the fact that he was 4 years younger than the other members, he made his debut with a great style in “raping” his primordial drum just as they liked. Tony had noticed his talent one day when, by chance, Jonathan had been busy in miming Dave Grohl (Nirvana’s drummer)… playin’ and beatin’ up an empty bucket! Tony was enraptured by his naturalness in doing that.

Jonny would have become the first real official drummer of the band.

1996 – ’97 – ‘98

After the changing of the name with Bliss Infection and the adding of about twenty songs to the startin’repertory, it was the time to start a long series of concerts that went on for about 3 years ,getting a fairly good success.

1999 – 2000

Time increased the potentialities both executive and of songs’ composition, and friendship between the members got stronger every day,improvin’ consequently the team-play on the inside of the band….However this wasn’t enough,’cause Jonny started catching different goads .This was the reason that took the B.I. to an agreeable

separation from the drummer.

 For the first time after 5 years there were one ideological differences with him who ,musically matured ,felt himself more realized in playing extreme metal with another band…..and finally he formed a black-metal band called Obsidio.

Nowadays he plays with the V.O.R.A.G.O. : industrial extreme grafting.

For Tony and Andy all got back to zero, at the starting point ,‘till when, by chance, one friend of L.A. invited them to listen to his band (Noisome) in their practice-room. There as if by magic Tony and Andy were impressed above all by the drummer’s style that, in their opinion, had his papers in order to become  the new missing member. In fact GUB (Cormons,1979,the drummer) played with a really personal style, more soundfull and with many more niceties derived by his jazz posture.

Gub ,after having accepted the proposal of the B.I.( also ‘cause he did listen to them many times and cause he did fully appreciate their sonorities Post-Grunge)and after having practiced  with them ,he accepted to share his time also with the B.I…. Later he became their official drummer dedicating all his care.

Always in the same year came back the second guitarist ,STEVE who in 1997 had taken part in some concerts as a shift-worker. He improved the technical level of the band, fusing his solos “dirty” of metal with the genre. But at the same time he made them waste a lot of time when he decided ,a few days before the second recording session, to leave the band in order to dedicate himself to the closely study of guitar chords without “wasting” more time in creating on their music. This thing slowed down a lot the recording work ‘cause the B.I. would have had also to explain again what they wanted from a new guitarist …The “savior” was the great Carlo, representative of the Rock-old-school scene of Gorizia, that decided to help them during the recording .(Thanx again!)

2001 – ‘02

Two years of hard work and great care in their practice-room and in the recording-studio, in order to finish the dream to create their first album :MEMORY, that initially should be called Vagina’s skin…….

On the 20th of July of 2002 the B.I. could, after many mishaps caused by :”ghost” Studios, creating new arrangements, little variations, end with big emotion their hard work.

Printings were finished on the 22 of September. The day after started a real mission: that one to propose their own music to the biggest labels in Seattle and Portland…

On the 24 of September they left for those places, where Tony also had a friend, Melody ,who helped them a lot. (Thank you for everything Milli!!!)

Since the return trip many Record Companies from USA show interest for the Bliss Infection.

2003

Nowadays they are valuing the different proposals and chances………Good luck guys!!!!

Once for all ,in order to get a good new  2nd and definitive guitarrist, AGNUL (Cormons,1982) (2nd guitar  for  the song "Rabbit Face" in the album) became the 2nd official guitarrist of the band. In spite of the fact that he 's younger than the other members,he's very versatile ,fancyful , with good taste and above all "serious"!!!  He also comes from an old school scene,in fact he likes punk and metal at the same time....and what did B.I.need? JUST HIM.

Saturday the 30th of August : The new tour had started.
